The four days trip to the mountain gorillas is one of the short safaris one can do; this trip will involve driving for longer hours as you get to the misty mountains which are home to the endangered gentle giants – The Mountain Gorilla. The drive will let you chance pass through different villages and see the life styles of the locals, to the beautiful scenery of the landscape and to the final destination.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival to Uganda either in Entebbe or Kampala
Day 2: Drive from Entebbe to Bwindi Forest.
Your driver guide will pick you from the lodge in the early morning and drive you to the home of the mountain Gorilla’s. This is a very long Journey but you can always have stops along the way to stretch. Upon arrival, you will check in and have dinner.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking
The big day is on for today, you will be taken to the briefing area before 08am so that you get the general briefing from the rangers about Gorillas as well as the DO’S and the DON’T’S while on your encounter with these peaceful gentle giants. The trekking takes from 4hrs to 8hrs this all depends on where the Gorillas have been found.
Day 3: Transfer Back to Entebbe
You will be transferred Back to Entebbe or Kampala, through the same road you drove through the first day. Along the way you will have a stop at the equator for photos and some interesting to watch water experience at the equator.
