Uganda’s largest and oldest national Park, Murchison falls is famous for the dramatic waterfall where the Nile squeezes through a narrow gorge before plunging 43 meters down. Also its difference in habitat brings in different species of wildlife from savannah grassland to woodland to riverline.
Queen Elizabeth National Park
One of the most biodiverse parks, the park features savannah, wetlands and forested areas. It is also famously known for being the home to the tree climbing lions in its southern sector ‘Ishasha’. Boat safaris are also done on the Kazinga Channel bringing visitors close to wildlife that comes to drink water in the hot days.

This is Rwanda’s only savannah park and one of East Africa’s most inspiring conservation success stories, Located in the eastern part of Rwanda, the park covers approximately 1122sqkm of diverse landscapes including open plains, rolling hills, woodlands swamps and lakes.
