Murchison Falls National Park:

Uganda’s largest and oldest national Park, Murchison falls is famous for the dramatic waterfall where the Nile squeezes through a narrow gorge before plunging 43 meters down. Also its difference in habitat brings in different species of wildlife from savannah grassland to woodland to riverline.

Queen Elizabeth National Park

One of the most biodiverse parks, the park features savannah, wetlands and forested areas. It is also famously known for being the home to the tree climbing lions in its southern sector ‘Ishasha’. Boat safaris are also done on the Kazinga Channel bringing visitors close to wildlife that comes to drink water in the hot days.

Akagera National Park

This is Rwanda’s only savannah park and one of East Africa’s most inspiring conservation success stories, Located in the eastern part of Rwanda, the park covers approximately 1122sqkm of diverse landscapes including open plains, rolling hills, woodlands swamps and lakes. This is where most of the game safaris take place in Rwanda. The park is names after the Akagera river which flows along its eastern boundary. also its dominated by a chain of lakes creating a stunning mix of open savannah grassland, Acacia woodland, Papyrus swamps. with this diversity the park is now home to the BIG FIVE.
